Funckenhausen Vineyards is the fulfillment of Mr. Kurt Heinlein’s dream, a prestigious Argentine-German businessperson who sought to develop a personal and familiar venture in the wine business to honor his ancestors (Funcke family) and leave a legacy of quality and excellence to the generations to come.

330 has (815 acres) located at 850 meters – 2778 feet on a hill, close to the village of 25 de Mayo, San Rafael, South Mendoza, were the reward of several trips and many miles travelled across the province of Mendoza. Here K.H. would plant vines developing

a strong bond with the terroir being explored. Patience and dedication blending with the art and passion from the professional hands of the talented technical team lead to wines that thrive to express as faithful as possible the potential of San Rafael, and more specifically of one of the highest and most renowned estates of the region – the Funckenhausen Vineyards.
